101 officers and staff of the Ministry of Development and the Departments under it received the Long Service Medal, PKL at the Brunei Darussalam State Honorary Medals Presentation Ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday. The award also reflects respect for the services and dedication, as well as the commitment of the recipients in contributing to the development and progress of the country. The ceremony was held on 26th May morning, at Dewan Munawwarah, Setia Point, Berakas.

The award was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister Of Development. Also held was the Certificates of Appreciation Presentation Ceremony for Officers and Staff of the Ministry of Development and the Departments under it who have retired in 2023 and 2024.
